Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great honor and
pleasure to welcome you to the 14th International Conference on
Advanced Vibrational Spectroscopy (ICAVS14).
ICAVS has long been recognized as a premier international forum
that brings together leading scientists, researchers, and
practitioners in the field of vibrational spectroscopy. The
conference provides a unique platform to share the latest
scientific advances, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations
across a wide range of disciplines, including chemistry, physics,
materials science, biology, and biomedical sciences.
ICAVS encompasses a broad spectrum of vibrational spectroscopy,
including mid- and near-infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy,
and nonlinear spectroscopic techniques. Previous meetings have
been successfully held in Finland (2001, ICAVS1), UK (2003,
ICAVS2), USA (2005, ICAVS3), Greece (2007, ICAVS4), Australia
(2009, ICAVS5), USA (2011, ICAVS6), Japan (2013, ICAVS7), Austria
(2015, ICAVS8), Canada (2017, ICAVS9), New Zealand (2019,
ICAVS10), Poland (2021, ICAVS11, online & 2023, ICAVS12), and
China (2025, ICAVS13).
ICAVS14 will continue this tradition by highlighting cutting-edge
developments in both fundamental and applied vibrational
spectroscopy. The program will feature plenary and invited
lectures by distinguished experts, as well as contributed oral and
poster presentations covering emerging topics such as advanced
Raman and IR spectroscopy, ultrafast and nonlinear techniques,
nanoscale spectroscopy, and data-driven approaches, including
artificial intelligence.
In addition to the scientific program, we hope that ICAVS14 will
provide valuable opportunities for networking, discussion, and the
exchange of ideas in a collegial and inspiring environment.
We are truly delighted to host ICAVS14 at the ICC Jeju, Jeju,
Korea, and we look forward to welcoming you to an exciting and
memorable conference.
